Description
Painted on location at the Coachella Valley Palm Preserve one morning in late April. It was hot...no shade where I was set up...had to paint fast! When I started the painting, the palms in the background were silhouetted against the morning sky. I liked the effect....
This painting won Third Place among forty-odd pieces at the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society's 2013 Plein Air Art Show.
