Description
Done largely on location (en plein air) in Andreas Canyon, south of Palm Springs, CA, this one was all about composition, design, and painting palm trees without showing their tops. The "haystack" just right of center is a reconstruction of a palm-thatch covered Cahuilla Indian house.
